Dogs have an amazing sense of smell and a natural desire to hunt. This class focuses on teaching you how to encourage and develop your dog's natural scenting abilities by using their desire to hunt and their love of toys, food, and exercise. It's a great class for your dog to have fun, build confidence, and burn lots of mental and physical energy. Find out just how good your dog's nose really is!

This is a class with a lot of fun built in. It does not matter what breed, size, physical condition, obedience level, or if your dog is blind or deaf. Any dog can learn to follow its nose. You can compete with your dog at national events or join us just for the fun at our local events. The sport of noseworks is sweeping the nation as another great event to challenge your dog and to build a stronger bond between owner and dog. One of the great benefits is your dog's improved ability to focus, even in a distracting environment. This is also great for games you can play around the house, and the kids can play scent games with their dogs at home or in the back yard.

Our approach to teaching dogs to do scent work is fun-based, building on foundation skills used in K9 detection training. The unique curriculum we have adopted for our classes promotes a positive, fun, and motivationally-based methodology. For individual attention, class size is a maximum of 8 dogs.
